This Privacy Policy describes how Worm Escape Team ("we", "us") collects, uses, and shares information when you use the mobile application Worm Escape ("the App") on iOS, iPadOS, macOS, or tvOS. We respect your privacy and collect only the minimum data required to operate the App.

We do not collect your name, email, phone number, precise location, photos, contacts, health data, financial information (beyond what Apple handles for your purchase), or any other sensitive personal information.
When you open the Leaderboard screen, the App uses Apple's Game Center framework (GameKit) to authenticate your Apple ID and submit/retrieve scores. Your Game Center display name and scores are stored by Apple and displayed to other players on the global leaderboard. This is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy.
When you purchase "Go Ad-Free" or the "50× Powerups" bundle, Apple's StoreKit framework processes the transaction. Apple provides us with a cryptographically signed receipt so we can grant you the purchased entitlement. We do not receive your payment method, billing address, or any other financial details.
The App displays optional rewarded video ads provided by Google AdMob. AdMob may collect your device identifier (IDFA), coarse location (derived from IP address), and other data for the purpose of ad delivery and measurement.
On iOS, we ask for your permission through Apple's App Tracking Transparency (ATT) prompt before any tracking occurs. If you decline, we instruct AdMob to serve non-personalized ads only. Ads are always optional — you can purchase "Go Ad-Free" from the Rewards menu to remove all ads permanently.
AdMob's data practices are governed by the Google Privacy Policy. The following AdMob domains may be contacted during ad serving:
The App stores your settings, high scores, unlocked levels, medal progress, tutorial flags, and purchase entitlements in Apple's UserDefaults (local storage on your device). This data is not transmitted to us. Deleting the App from your device removes this data.
The App is rated 9+ and is not specifically directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe your child has provided personal information through the App, please contact us at wormescape@gmail.com and we will promptly work with Apple and Google to address the issue.
Parents can restrict advertising, tracking, and in-app purchases through Apple's Screen Time settings.
You can allow or deny app tracking at any time under Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking → Worm Escape.
Purchase "Go Ad-Free" in the Rewards menu to permanently remove all ads. Ad-free status restores across your devices via your Apple ID.
Deleting the App from your device removes all locally stored data. Game Center data is managed by Apple — you can delete your Game Center data in your Apple ID settings. Purchase history is maintained by Apple and cannot be deleted by us.
If you reside in the European Union, United Kingdom, or California, you have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of data linked to you. Since we do not maintain our own databases, most data requests must be directed to Apple (for Game Center and purchase history) or Google (for advertising data). Contact us at wormescape@gmail.com for any request, and we will assist where possible.
We do not store any of your data on servers we control. Data is retained only by Apple (Game Center, purchases) and Google (ad data) according to their respective policies. Local device data persists until you delete the App.
All network connections made by the App are encrypted with TLS. Apple and Google handle their respective data transmissions with industry-standard encryption.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by a new Effective Date at the top of this page. Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
